DINNERSHOW Times & Reservations
Do I need to make reservations?
Reservations are not required but are highly recommended. For Fridays and Saturdays we recommend at least several weeks in advance, when possible, for prime reservation times. Midweek reservations may usually be made the same week.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations may be made both on line and by phone. On line reservations may be made 24 hours a day on our asiasf.com website by clicking HERE. Phone reservations may also be made 7 days per week between the hours of 1 pm and 8pm by calling our reservations office at 415.255.ASIA (2742).
What is included?
Our dinner show packages include all food and both of the performances during your dinner-show seating. Except for Wednesday night specials, all patrons must have dinner in order to enjoy the shows. Parties of 6 people or more choosing a Gold, Platinum or Diamond menu will receive souvenir keepsake menus with a personalized menu heading. (example: "Happy Birthday Josie!"). The dinnershow prices do not include: beverages, taxes, or gratuities.
Why do you need my credit card number? Do you take a deposit?
We do not take a deposit but we do ask for a credit card number to hold all reservations. Your credit card number will only be charged if you fail to show up for dinner on the day and date of your reservation. SEE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW. At the end of your meal, you may choose to pay your bill with cash or any credit card(s) you choose to use.
I don't know exactly how many are in my party. Will I be able to make changes to my party size?
Yes. You may reduce the number of people in your party up to 48 hours before your reservation. (If there are any same day changes, please call to let us know- but we may charge you the $35 per person no-show fee at this late time.)
If you wish to increase your party size, call us immediately and we will do our best to accommodate your request – but we cannot guarantee you that we will be able to increase your party size.
What is the cancelation policy?
We require 48 hours notice if you are going to cancel or reduce the number of people in your party. You may reduce the number of people up until 48 hours prior to the reservation date without penalty. If you are trying to ADD people to your party please let us know as early as possible, we will do our best to accommodate your request. There are only a set number of seats available and "extra" seats are not guaranteed after time of booking so the earlier you make this request the better.
If none of your party show up for your reservation we will charge the credit card you used to make the reservation the per person price of the dinner show package times the number of people that were supposed to show up.
If only some of your party fail to show up for your reservation there is a $35 per person no show fee for each missing guest.

Can someone in my party come without eating?
All seats in the dining room are for dinner and the shows. On Friday and Saturday nights, if you have some friends who want to join you for the party without eating, they can meet you in our downstairs nightclub/lounge after you have finished dinner. We can put together a guest list for you so your friends will not have to pay a cover at the door. There is, however, nowhere for non-dinner guests to view the shows.
How old do you have to be to come to the restaurant?
Guests of all ages are welcome to have dinner and enjoy the shows in our main floor dining room every night we are open. However, we ask parties with guests under 21 to book the first seating only on Fridays (7 PM) or on Saturdays (5 PM). For guests who ARE 21 and older, on Friday and Saturday nights, your dinner show reservation also includes complimentary admission to our downstairs dance club/lounge.
Can we just come for the performances and not dinner?
All seats in the dining room are for dinner and the show – it is a "dinnershow". On Friday and Saturday nights, if you have some friends who want to join you for the party without eating, they can meet you in our downstairs nightclub/lounge after you have finished dinner. We can put together a guest list for you so your friends will not have to pay a cover at the door. But these guests cannot view the show in the maining dining room without having dinner.

Will I see a show at my showtime?
There are performances at every dinnershow time. No matter which day or which time you choose you will always see two performances, each with three or four Ladies of AsiaSF performing.
What are the shows like?
The shows are performed by the Ladies of AsiaSF. They are lip-synch, cabaret style shows with choreographed dancing performed atop a red runway stage in the middle of the dining room. Each Lady of AsiaSF has her own style; from popular dance songs, 70s ballads, to more comedic numbers.
What is the seating like? I want the best view.
The red runway stage is elevated and it is in the center of the dining room, so every table has a great view! If you have been here before and have a specific seating request, we can take a note of it and try to accommodate your request. There are NO GUARANTEES that you will be seated in that section, it is just a request. Persons with disabilities/special needs or wheelchairs may need specific seats- and those requests will be honored – please be sure to let us know in advance so we can reserve necessary seating.
What kind of food do you serve?
We serve California- Asian Fusion cuisine, meaning fresh California ingredients with an Asian twist; such as miso-glazed salmon or tamarind marinated chicken sates.
Do you have vegetarian options?
We have plenty of vegetarian options; such as orange-tofu, bok choy and shitake mushrooms, soba noodles with portabello mushroom, asparagus and truffle oil and vegetarian asia-dillas. Just let your server know how many vegetarians are in your party and we will provide them with vegetarian options.
Can you accommodate dietary issues?
We do have allergy charts to show the ingredients of each dish. Please inform your server of your allergy or dietary issue and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Can we come in just for drinks?
You can on Wednesdays. On Wednesday's we have a $25 minimum. So, if you would like to come in for just drinks you may on Wednesdays. On Thursday through Sunday evenings all guests enjoying the shows must have dinner. On Fridays and Saturdays our downstairs night club is open and you are more than welcome to come any time for drinks and dancing. However, there are not set shows in the nightclub. (Although sometimes Bachelorette or Birthday party "Spotlight Shows" can be seen downstairs.) There is, however, nowhere to view the shows in the main dining room without dinner.
Can we just order a la carte?
On Wednesday's you can come in and order any combination of food or drink to fulfill a $25 minimum. On all other nights that we are open you must choose our three course Menage a Trois dinner (for parties of 5 or less), or our Gold/Platinum/Diamond menus for parties of 6 or more.
What is the difference between small parties and large parties?
Small parties are all parties of 1 to 5 guests. Large parties are 6 or more guests.
What are the large party menus?
Here at AsiaSF all of our large parties (6 or more people) need to choose either a Gold, Platinum or Diamond menu. All 3 of these menus are served family style. Vegetarian substitutions are available. Included in their price is all food, 2 dinnershows and a personalized souvenir menu. What about small party menu choices?
On Thursdays through Sundays each guest in a small party chooses any appetizer from our menu, any main course from our menu and either the dessert or dessert drink of your choice. Our small party menu can be found HERE. Small party pricing can be found HERE.
What are the main differences between the Gold/Platinum/Diamond menus?
As you go up in price, the main differences are more variety and more premium items. For example, the Platinum menu has an additional appetizer, entrée, and dessert. And the Platinum is more seafood focused. The Diamond menu includes a champagne toast, an amuse, and some more premium items like the Filet Mignon, Crab Cakes, and three desserts.
Can I bring a cake?
Is there a corkage, and what is the fee?
You may bring a cake. Our cake cutting fee is $2 per person. As an alternative there is no fee if you wish to bring cupcakes and serve yourselves.
The corkage fee is $20 per bottle (750ml). You may bring a maximum of 5 bottles. Wine & Champagne only, no liquor. The corkage fee is only allowed in the dining room – not in the downstairs nightclub.
Downstairs nightclub & Lounge
When is the nightclub open?
The nightclub is open Friday nights from 8pm to 2am and on Saturday nights from 6pm- 2am. We are also open occasionally for special holidays, so call to ask if we will be having a club night. The space can also be reserved on other nights for private parties.
What is the cover charge for the night club?
The cover charge is $10. However, this cost is included in the price of your dinnershow reservation if you are having dinner. Also, if you have a dinnershow reservation, but some of your guests will only be joining you afterwards in the club we can put together a guest list for you at no charge.
What kind of music do you play?
The club DJ plays a dancefloor friendly mix of top 40, hip-hop, 70's, 80's,90's, party anthems and more. We play for the crowd!
Birthdays / Bachelorettes & Special Occasions
What do you do for Birthdays? What do I get?
Your Birthday is special here at AsiaSF! For parties choosing the Gold, Platinum, or Diamond menu we print those menus with a personalized heading (ex: Happy Birthday Susan!) Also the Ladies of AsiaSF do announcements before the shows where they will do a birthday shout out for your celebrant. We can also put a candle in the dessert for the birthday girl/boy. There is also a fun, interactive shot you can do with one of the Ladies.

We have bachelorette party planners that will help make your party planning a breeze. Not interested in additional services/packages? No problem! They're a part of the reservation team and our goal is to help you plan the "best bachelorette party ever!"

Location & Parking
Do you have valet? Where should we park?
We do not have valet. Street parking is typically easy to find, and the parking meters stop running at 6pm, so it is free after that. (For 5pm Saturday reservations, you will need $3 in quarters if you use on-street parking.) There is paid off-street parking on 8th Street between Market and Mission, but you can usually find closer, free street parking. You may also see an interactive map with directions HERE.
Is there a dress code?
Not specifically. People do get dressed up for their special occasions such as bachelorette and birthday parties. But, jeans and a cute top- or jeans and a casual dress shirt are fine.
What is Paparazzi Saturday?

What is the Wednesday night special?
On Wednesdays, in addition to our regular dinner options, you have the option of a $25 minimum per person for parties of 15 or less. So, if you would like to come in for just drinks and nibbles you may on Wednesdays. For more information on our Wednesday night special click HERE.
